There has been a lot of moaning and groaning since we lost. Curry had 10 assists. Harden had less (can't have an assist if who you pass too always misses).

Harden is constantly double teamed. Curry is not. Harden has a better primary defender who is taller than him. Curry had single coverage from Beverly who is shorter.

Curry is playing with a much better support cast and is not the man carrying the team. Harden has almost all the burden.

When they played this summer. Harden was the alpha leader and Curry and Thompson were just other guys on team.

Curry is a good player and an excellent shooter , but he is no Harden. Replace Curry with an average point guard and the Warriors are still strong. Replace Harden with an average scoring guard and we would might not even be a playoff team.

That just means Curry has more teammates who can score on their own. I do think Harden is a better player but it doesn't matter when you keep getting your ass kicked.

Harden may be better, but Curry has a superior roster around him and a coaching staff that leaves the Rockets in the Stone Ages.

This argument to replace Curry and Harden with average players to see which team is better doesn't mean anything. GSW is on track to win 10 more games than us with both players playing. So of course if you replace them GSW would still be better. What's the point you're making?

Just say you think Harden is better than Curry. Talking about what would happen if neither play means nothing.

I love Harden but I think Curry is a notch above him...Curry, IMHO is the best player in the game today and Harden is 2nd.

Harden for MVP. Curry for Executive of the Year.

    Durant? And even Lebron?

I think it goes Durant, Harden, Lebron and Curry.

The Spurs lost four times to us, and they won it all last season.. match ups are key.

The Spurs losing in the regular season is deceiving, Pop sits his star players several times against us.

I wouldn't use the Spurs as an example.

I think is more about coaching and chemistry.

The warriors have better chemistry and better coaching on the offensive end.

Not too worried about the first half of the season. it's a long long season.

They also have the best defensive assistant coach in the NBA.

I agree that harden is better. Barely. BUT, I won't be surprised if non-rockets fans never believe that. Let's face it - free throws aren't sexy, but curry's stroke sure is.

Perception is everything. Right now, steph is playing like an mvp while leading the best team in the league. People perceive him as a winner. Most people see harden as a one-sided player. Until harden kills it on both ends of the floor over the span of a couple seasons (or hell, even just the postseason), that view of him won't change.

helps when you have another deadly backcourt player who can score. They play different positions as well and not on each other
