Well, to be fair a lot of people on this board would probably place the Rockets even lower...

this, we won't make playoffs because Parsons the super star future of our team left us.

Also Lin god is gone, we might as well tank

Me too. STP should be our motto this season. Cant wait till we prove the doubters wrong.

This is all good news. Hopefully they can play with a chip on their shoulder all year.

Lol, I say we finish 4th behind Spurs, Okc and Clips.

The rest will be really close between the Suns, Grizzles, Mavs, Warriors, Blazers.

    Okc
    Spurs
    Clips
    Rox
    Blazers
    GSW
    Mavs
    Grizz(Suns)

I don't think Grizzlies at 6 is a bad choice, they're a great team. The Rockets should definitely be higher than the Warriors, Blazers and Mavs though.

Don't really see anything wrong with that. Out of the 8 teams listed, HOU is the only team that got clearly worse.

It could happen. West is stacked.

6th maybe, 8th is too low. The ranking did show 6 to 8 all have 49 wins. That's about how I predict it. Gonna be hard to get 50 wins this year with this roster, doable if we are injury free.

Good ole BSPN. Cuban gives Parsons $15,000,000 a year and the Rockets lose an All Star. If we had matched without getting Bosh Morey would be an idiot who overpaid for a good-but-not-great player.

It's too early for such a list anyway. Right, Plowman?

    Right?

    *sound of crickets chirping

    :)

You mean, a lot of people on this board, many of whom should know better, would probably place the Rockets at 15th in the West.

Let the Haters hate, when we start stopping these teams with our defense we will be ranked 1 on every ranking table

We are worse than last year and barely made the 4 seed, so yes, there's a real chance we are going to be a 6-8th seed. However, Mavs and Grizzlies overrated and Warriors underrated.

I disagree. Harden battled injuries for a while and Howard missed the last 8-10 games of the year.

I'm getting that 1993 vibe, where our team fed off the media disrespect.

Enough is enough. Time to bring back Mario Elie as an assistant!!!

Eh. We were far from full strength.

Portland was the epitome of full strength last year, no way they finish 4th.

    Dallas is over rated.

They go the top 3 group right. I see the next group as Memphis, GS and Houston in some order. With Dallas and Portland as the 7 and 8.
