What is the deal with Rockets Fans clamoring for these guys. These guys are very overrated.

Kevin Love is just a younger Luis Scola(with 3 point range)

Ricky Rubio has been compared to Steve Nash( but can't shoot a lick). Gee I reckon we had a player like him once on the Rockets( Rafer Alston)

If there is anybody I want to be center for this Rockets team, its AL Horford(24 years). He does everything Block Shots, Rebound, Assists, Great PER. The only player in this years draft class who reminds me of Horford a little is Enes Kanter( who i want on the Rockets Badly)

Another guy I would like to see on the Rockets is Anthony Randolph (he has great upside). The Knicks Front Office considers him trash, but we all remmeber what happened with the Grizzlies and Kyle Lowry. The famous saying is, "Another mans trash could be another man's treasure." I think Anthony would flourish here in Houston, We might have to give up Chase or a 1st rounder( which i would not even consider). But I think he would be great here, especially blocking shots and rebounding. People have to consider the guy who is coaching him, a guy who has openly come and said he doesn't like Rookie Bigmen( he even clashed heads with Amare, while they were in Phoenix). And not to mention Jordan Hill.

Kevin Love is a great player, but come on. What can he possibly lead the Rockets too, that Luis Scola hasn't. He is a great number 2 or number 3 guy on a championship team. If we didn't have to give up much to get K-Love, sure i would do it. But i really dont see how he would help us on the defensive side of the ball. I still have visions of D-Wade getting layups againist the Rockets like he was warming up for a game againist the Celtics.

All in all I think Morey already has an eye on Enes Kanter, and he is a guy who I think would be a great replacement for Yao.

    What do yall think?

I still think if we can get a defensive Center we would be just fine. We have enough Offense and enough perimeter D. I dont think K Love or Rubio would help us but Varejao would be ok. I still rather Haywood

Love is almost doubling Scola's rebounding average.

Giving this thread a 1 star is giving the OP too much credit... the system is broken!

Kevin Love no elite first step, No athletism, Non-exsistant on the defensive end. Great Shooter, Solid Rebounder, Does all the Dirth Work, 100% Hustle. Those qualities sound familiar

He is like a much younger Luis Scola, except for the fact that he is younger, and has a three-point shot.

If Love was Scola's age, he would not be averaging 15 rebounds a game. I dont know what Scola averaged when he was K-Loves age, but i see a lot of smilarites with Scola and Love

Look at the T-wolves record, year after year, same ole, same ole.

15 rebounds is good, but come on, he has no impact on the game defensively. We would be in the same situation we are in now.

And i really dont get the fascination with Varejao. LOL.

If this guy was ever on the Rockets, I would seriously question Morey.
