Patrick Beverley is taking this offseason seriously. He's add some real muscle and his 3 Pt shot looks smooth. (Note: Bev's only in the first minute or two) Excited for next season with our "3 and D" PG!
I think Beverley is the biggest key to this season. If he can even slightly improve on offense... 14/5/5 on 39% 3pt shooting and elite defense makes us a contender. Talk all you want about Harden and Howard, it will be guys like Beverley and Jones who will make us or break us.
Basically Beverley needs two good shots. One is his 3 pointer. The other is that floater he takes when defenses run him off the 3 point line. If he can hit both with solid consistency, he'll be making at least MLE money for the next decade as long as he's healthy.
I would love that, but I don't see him getting enough shots on a consistent basis. I would put his points at about 13-15 ppg.
Pat is my favorite rocket since Moochie. I want him to really improve so he can lock up that starting spot long term.
I hope he spends the rest of his career in Houston, hope he gives us the hometeam discount when he gets his big contract.
Pat Bev is getting paid absolute crap. Just like Parsons was. Pat deserves his payday, just like Parsons did. Albeit if its another max contract debacle (highly doubt it; I imagine Pat Bev being worth about MLE or less) or some dumb overpaid contract he's going to have to be let go.
it said his nickname was crane and wasn't the kid who was a beast in coach carter name was ty crane? maybe its him
Beverly has to be light on his toes if he's going to go against the likes of Westbrooks, Rose, Parker, Lliard, Parker, Aaron Brooks...etc I hope he's working on his footwork this summer. He has the stamina to run with them put keep up ehhh. That stroke is looking lovely! Rockets #1 3pt shooting next season lets get it! I say us clutchfan'ers make a get a team together and sign up to this league. Im not saying they're scubs but I know a couple of us could do some damage on that tiny court.
