They're going to show Game 2 of the Magic vs Pistons series from 2003 on NBA TV at 9pm tonight. Not sure what's so "great" about this game, but T-mac did pour in 46 points. Also, tomorrow they will show the Raptors vs Knicks game 2 from 2000 at 3pm, and a rare chance to see T-mac with the Raptors.

if you saw the teammates he played with v. the pistons in that series, you'd know why they would show that game. tmac went against the best defense in the NBA that yr with the reigning defensive player of the year.

the but the raptors, may be more for vince carter v. spreewell.

i saw the 2003 all star game on NBA TV yest and i think i forgot how SLICK and SMOOTH the guy was just and astounding athlete.

And if you don't think that was a great game i don't know what to tell you.

1 man team vs 1st seed best defensive team.

Although i do have to say the pistons have a habit in playing down to their competition it was absurd they were down 1-3 i don't think lebron could have beaten them had it not been for boobie's 30 pt game.

Maybe I'll watch for JVG's Knick coaching days cause he made it past the first round with another team.

Let's cue the Rockets GARM when they show Mutumbo beating the Sonics again.

I never said it was a bad game for a non-Rockets related game that happened along time ago.

Vince Carter is already out of his prime? damn.

Another great story about those Raptors:

First the 'great' Vince Carter was jealous Tmac actually being more talented than him (though they are cousins). Funny how two egos couldn't play with each other for the greater good of the team.

Then Tmac leaves so he can have glory and score 46 points in losing efforts and getting mad and wanting a trade cause he realizes he can't win by himself.

Vince Carter becomes the man in Toronto and couldn't take the heat and leaves the Raptors.

And you guys compare them to Michael Jordan? please.

or could it be he had a better coach, DPOY, and 6th man of the yr? oh yea, those guys don't matter.

yao ming has heart. battier has heart. oh yea, where that got them? whether or not a guy has heart is a subjective matter.

iverson with the most talent team-wise in his career quit last yr on national TV. i'm sure he still played with heart then.

AI got the wrong rap for being the poster boy of what's wrong with the NBA.
Hindsight tells us that Vince Carter is not only the poster boy of what was wrong with the NBA, he's also the president.

Vince Carter says if you only use your skills to make highlight reels than you'll get fame and money. Defense? Leadership? screw that!
