(NY Post) Carmelo: Dwight 'tried extremely hard' in Rockets Recruitment

No kidding. I still don't know what the appeal was. Sure, he can score, but this team didn't need that coming off of last season. They needed defense which Melo was never gonna provide(especially if he had to play heavy minutes at the 4). Couple that with us having to overpay him, him playing the same position as Parsons, and needing the ball to be effective which would limit Harden's production and I'm a total loss as to why the Rockets went after him so hard.

 

Agreed. In addition, if they keep sucking, he will find a way to shift the blame as well.

 

Blah blah blah.... Who cares? Bosh said the same thing, but I am glad that we did not get either of them, then the team is just looking good on paper, no one is willing to play the defense, just look at current Cav.
