I might be going. I'm still deciding. If I go though, i'll definitely be taking pics. They have that new LG 84" 4K TV that I really want to see among other things.
I've always wondered about conferences like this. If this isn't your job, or you don't live in the city that the conference is held, do you guys just take vacation time to go to these?
my job, for better and for worse. it's a good time, true, but a long time to be away from the family. vegas itself holds little interest, but the entire industry is there, and there are some fantastic restaurants, truly world class, so that's cool. casinos, or rather gambling, hold little interest for me.
I'll be there - are any of you who traditionally go going to have a booth there or just going for kicks? I'll be at booth 3421, LVCC North Hall with a company called Dropcam, and I'm staying at Treasure Island... If something comes together it would be cool to say hello!
I'll be there and I think I'm going to actually be attending CES if all goes well. Hopefully I don't get "lost" and end up at the AVN convention again, lol.
Went two years ago when 3D was all the rage...Can't make it this year, but I do want to know how well the no-glasses 3D screens are this year. That technology really doesn't wow me that much. Also, some of the medical tech this year seems to be amazing.
I have a 3D Samsung C8000 LED and a 3D JVC RS-40 Projector. I've seen exactly one 3D movie on both. Hehe. Good thing I made sure the 2D quality on both of those were top notch and the 3D was just bonus.
