The NBA Draft is tonight -- Thursday night, June 25, 2015, starting at 6:00pm Central time and televised on ESPN. The Rockets are (currently) sitting at #18 (via New Orleans) in the first round and #32 (via New York) in the second round. Please start a new thread for each individual pick made by the Rockets so fan comments can be focused on that specific player. Thanks!
Maybe you should start the thread now because you know there will be a rush to be first.... Maybe title a thread "ROCKETS' PICK #18" and "....#32" and you can edit the title should the pick number change (good odds) and/or edit the title to select the name of the player chosen.
I predict we pick at 18 and we trade #32 and a small asset or player to move up into the low 1st round. This will assist in getting us another player that we don't have to use an exception to sign while we keep over the cap.
most excited i've been for a Rockets draft since the Eddie Griffen draft. Consider that we were just in the western conference finals and we have a mid-first and the 2nd in the 2nd. Kind of criminal. Now that's good GMing
I bet we see at least 3-5 new threads from different people on the new Rockets player drafted thinking they got the news first. But in reality, we should just let J.R. and only J.R. start the new threads because 95% of the time he gets any news FIRST and to avoid GARM clutter
Over/Under on the number of people to start threads? I say at least 3 threads about #18, and two about #32.
