Yes I pay big differences to buy made in the USA, but it is usually less than 4 times the price as you have asserted. I do so for two reasons: 1. Quality is without a doubt head and shoulders above foreign. 2. To help keep people here employed. I fully understand that most will not do this, but I'm doing what I can. Regarding manufacturing: I absolutely 100% disagree with you, and actually go further to claim that without a significant manufacturing base (at least 20-25% of the total workforce, right now it sits around 9% I believe), NO economy is sustainable. One need look no further than where we are headed. As you might have noticed, the outlook is not good. We are in massive debt, and save the Fed Bubble Finance House of Cards QE Engine that has propped up the economy since the crash, we are largely anemic. There's a reason why the populist flames have been stoked this cycle. Tech and the financial services sector absolutely does not an economy make. The Financial Casino Sector has now garnered 25% of total corporate profits, yet only provided 4% of the total jobs. Hear that giant sucking sound? Not sustainable. While they can be viable sectors, they have no chance of making it the foundation. Manufacturing add $1.40 for every $1.00 invested, and no other sector even comes close. Finally, to officially keep this on topic, Clinton is horrible.
Never have so few spoken as so many. Is this the type of voter fraud that the state of Texas was trying prohibit?
Hillary Clinton is a privileged entitled person. 2008 She felt she DESERVED the Presidency and it was HER TURN. She was IMO dismissive and arrogant about her competition. She got her ass handed to her and she humbled but only slightly. She is driven and competent politician. She was the consummate Politician's wife . . no the consummate politician. I don't dislike her. I don't know her person. She is Driven and willing to Sacrifice for her goals. I can respect that. I think people are unfair to her and I think some of it is Gender Based. I mean seriously. . . .people dog HER for Bill Cheating .. . while supporting a man that cheated on his wives (Plural) . . .. the hypocrazy is not missed on me. She had a goal. She wanted to be president. I think that was her life goal. Not the President's Wife. . but THE PRESIDENT. I can admire that. She is on the Cusp of doing just that . . .but it has not come without sacrifice and compromise. It's the definition of BEING A POLITICIAN. Rocket River
It's because she is an ambitious woman from the baby boomer generation. Not saying your sexist if you dont' like her, but women in leadership roles in politics and business are always scrutinized more closely.
I believe a woman is judged more harshly for equivalent actions from my own experiences. Women I work with treat other women less kindly than men, and treat them worse when errors occur than if it was male who was responsible. Why? Who knows.
Because we know she will be the worst president in history just like Obama before her and Bill before that.
Blistering fact check on Hillary's lies. On the Philadelphia newspaper site now... http://www.philly.com/philly/news/p...-false-misleading-claims-Hillary-Clinton.html
I was being sarcastic in case you did not realize. Bush Junior was in my bottom 25% of presidents for staring the Iraq war.
I think a very important option was missing, although perhaps it is tied up in being a chronic liar. She is extremely secretive, and never wants any of her information to be anywhere it could be made public. In essence, the polar opposite of 'transparent'. Combine this with her lying, and you have someone that is quite difficult to trust.
Unlike Trump who just ignore facts and tell lies straight to everyone, yes that is more trust worthy.
I think that remains to be seen. Lots of people want to put him there for Iraq, but we won't know the true impact of that for decades, probably.
First, this is just another example of how Hillary's actions can't be defended, just deflected to criticism's of Trump, and second, yes, what Trump has lied about absolutely indicates a higher degree of trustworthiness. Where has Trump lied under oath, repeatedly, for example? Trump's 'lies' are all just political rhetoric, Hillary's lies were made in the course of legal investigations, and/or matters of national security. And yes, she absolutely ignored facts and told lies straight to everyone on ALL those occassions. Only in official capacities, representing the supposed offical view of the United States of America, or in legal situations, under oath. So, yes, unlike Trump, but not in a good way for Hillary. Not at all. And this isn't even bringing up all the issues with ties between funds the Clinton Foundation received, and contracts being directed towards the funders. The very things Trump is campaigning against. You can say Trump is bad all you want, and have things that validate that, but Hillary is absolutely worse in this regard. There isn't even really any comparison. Which is why her trustworthy numbers are so low, even amongst her fellow Democrats.
