Is it not a frame by frame shot of the comic? If it is, not sure how they can screw it up.

You'll be surprised. Another L for DC Comics. What a terrible film. They all been crap since Flash Point Paradox.

This is what I want to know. The word was the editor for the trailer is responsible for the poor animation. It is the first to have mark hamill and kevin conroy back in their roles since the series. what happened.

It can't be the story because it's straight from the comic which is one of the best graphic novels out there.

I just left the special screening and I don't understand the hate. Sure they added some stuff at the beginning but the main story remained untouched. Animation wasn't even as bad as some posters are saying.

that's good to hear cause the trailer did look pretty bad. gonna check it out soon, what would you rate it or how would you compare it to the previous batman animated films?

I'd say a solid 8. It's good to see the graphic novel come to life. Don't come in expecting animation close to the animated series. It's computerized, different and more modern. That seems to be the way all of the cartoons are going nowadays especially the last few DC animated films. It makes sense that the studio would add some more story to this at the beginning considering the story itself is relatively short but imo it didn't take anything away.

My favorite part was hearing other people in the theatre react to the ending. You could tell a lot of them had never read the book and were very confused. Lol

Id give it an 8 as well. I liked it. Never read the comic story but felt cool to see a little of jokers origin.

it was boring and all the characters were unlikeable.

keep fanservice to anime. even then, the japanese should cut it out.

the animation was typical of dc animated movies. i'm guessing people are actually complaining about the character designs? mixing the styles of the comics and batman the animated series made something that looked a bit awkward.
