They're just a more talented version of last year. If the playoffs started today, they would probably be 4-1 or 4-2'd by the Dallas Mavericks, a team with actual coaching and late game execution.

Unlikely. Last night wasn't about excecution. It was about motivation. Our players played unmotivated in the first half. That's coaching but that's also players.

Yeah, just like last season. The only differences are that we allow the second fewest points per game and have defensive oriented players. Also, Harden is playing on both sides of the ball while being one of the front-runners for MVP. The last difference is that we have more vets, leadership.

Aside from these small differences, yes we are the same team as last season basically...just a more talented version.

Oh and the Miami Heat were just a more talented version of the prior Miami Heat teams after they got their big 3.

The only part I agree with you is that this team lacks in game coaching and late game execution and that's all on a poor coach that McHale is.

We'd still beat the Mavs though based solely on the brilliance that is MVP Harden and a well rounded roster.

Cool. I'm sure the Magic wont forget this biggest of their season while we are in the playoffs doing some serious damage, Look it's frustrating yes but I mean I have no doubt in my mind this team come serious playoff time will make some noise

Carlisle is over rated and the Mavs can't beat any of the top teams in the West

Jesus, can't people just accept that certain teams are bad match ups? You got Vucevic being able to step out and hit that 15ft jumper then Fry is camping at the 3pt line as always. The interior is a runway for driving and they exploited that. My biggest criticism is our defense against these teams. Never did we change or adjust. A zone would do wonders in these situations.

Dallas is overrated as of now... it's not like they are setting the world on fire.
