Yeah, Golden State got lucky... they didn't have to play the Spurs or the Clippers. They just had to play Houston.

I think the players took the Rockets seriously in game 7 after it was 3-3 regardless of what Doc says.

He is basically saying they weren't mature enough to advance, which is a huge indictment of the character of their team.

I don't think anyone gave the Rockets much respect or thought they'd win that series (outside of Houston).

There are many ways to lose in the NBA playoffs. Lack of grit is one such way. The Clippers exhibited a fatal lack of grit in their series against Houston and paid the price. Feel bad for the Clippers because I don't think grit is something they're going to be able to improve with practice.

We had a nice rally, but luck was on our side big time

If you do indeed fail to take a team seriously... that would be... bad coaching.

Lol Luck can't get Clippers past the 2nd round though. There is no lesson to learn when your not even getting the finals in the western conference.

I mean, that is the narrative for almost everyone isn't it? That the Clippers lost focus or whatever and that's why they lost 3 in a row? That's what I heard all over the place at the time and that's what I still hear. Everyone was more shocked than anything else - no one saw it coming.

And IMO it's a reason why they did lose 3 in a row. They didn't take us seriously.

As for the whining about the refs favoring Dwight... I cannot possibly SMGDH hard enough. Unbelievably stupid thing to say.

They're still cocky about where we stack against them...

    Well Doc ...
Good luck EVER getting the full attention of Josh, Lance, Jamal and your own son

That bench mob reminds me of the 'Headband' Nuggets with AI, Melo, JR ...
So much talent, but with a collective BBall IQ that might somehow be negative

No one does more b****in' & whining and has a set of excuses why they've failed to do anything in the playoffs than the Clippers.

The best moment to last season was beating the clippers in Houston. Good luck beating us this year as well.

Yeah I guess, at this point, we can just assume that CP3 has NEVER taken a 2nd-RD opponent seriously?
