This guy was the best cheerleader the Rockets have ever had. Always interested in watching the games. Guys look up to him everywhere, imagine being paid millions to be in the NBA and get courtside seats to every game. He was living the dream, all he had to do was show up to practice and mess around. Plus when he does have to play he'll just foul out instantly.

Like I said, livin the dream, no work or passion but still livin the life.

Big E, Moses, Akeem, Yao, Mount Mutombo, and Hasheem The Dream.

Dream will be missed. Who will be the next great Rockets center?

What a pathetic work effort, reminds me of Joe Barely Cares. Physically this guy could be great.

Hasheem is tall. That's the only thing he has in common with legit NBA centers.

waste of money, time, coaching, facility use, transportation use (takes up seats, food, room for 2 ppl) and ect.

Glad to see him go. Kid will never be more than a role player IF that much.

He had a great attitude and it really showed on twitter. Terrance Williams should take note.

Would have been awesome if he could have played basketball. He commits something like 18 fouls per 48 minutes played.

I'm waiting for the inevitable "Sign Thabeet then make him work with Dream every day -- you can't teach height!" thread.
