How do you know Foster, not Fitz, made the wrong reed? And I wouldn't be so confident in Nuke getting open over an LB. He's only 38 out 74 receivers ranked by PFF.
What's more likely in your opinion, that the guy who called the play threw the wrong route, or the RB ran the wrong route? One of those has to be right and it makes a lot more sense to assume that the mistake was on the RB who ran the route.
By this logic, QBs never throw the wrong route because they always call the plays. Since it's Fitz, who can turn a 2nd and goal at the 2 into a 3rd and 12, I'll say either is reasonable.
not sure what you see, but i see Nuk running a slant down the middle of the field as Fitzpatrick throws the ball (in a clean pocket). i guess you see things differently. you like QB's to throw timing routes to RB's in 5 wide sets. i like QB's to exploit mismatches ala a slow LB on a #2 WR. to each his own i guess.
I know what you said. And we know the pocket isn't usually that clean. I'm asking if you think better o-line play would help Fitz. It's a simple yes or no answer.
I'm not saying he's good or even above average, but considering he's at 87.6 with an average 0-line at best and Arian, 90 might be a little low. I just hope Clowney will come in and make a difference. The team can reach 9 maybe 10 wins as currently constructed.
