After the Tim Donaghy scandal, shouldn't all of this be over? Every freaking night, regardless of if the Rockets are playing or not, I find myself kicking myself in the head over these ridiculous calls and actions of the refs. They have more influence on the game than the players now. Is it that hard to call a good game? I'm starting to hate the NBA more and more every day. and what happened to the "Crackdown" on flopping... yeah right.
Maybe the refs are still continuing to place bets on the games that they are working. That's the only reason I can think of as to why they're influencing the outcomes of the games.
the funny thing is that commissar stern would look you in the eye, give you the Sternish grin, and finally say: whomikejames, there is no such thing as favoritism in the nba. we frown on that.
