He's a definite starter in this league. He has a bit of a bad reputation for being a chucker in OKC, but he really is a very good player (and is more selective with his shots now that he's a starter).

Well there you have it. SVG the coach should have fired SVG the team president a long time ago. Folks, this is how you screw up the franchise. Don't admit your draft mistake and get rid of him while you can. Double down and give him a huge contract and wind up nowhere. Poor Piston fans. Feel sorry for them.
I can't actually think about a single piece of their roster worth to build around...which is kinda crazy since even the Nets have some good pieces.
SVG stepped into a situation that was loaded with potential, proceeded to make one bad decision after another and leaves the franchise much worse off than he found it. That is his NBA legacy.
Drummond, Griffin and Kennard are solid pieces tbh. Not a championship core obv but this is the East we're talking about. Teams have done much more with far less.
Yeah , i mean, if those players are not able to make the playoffs in the East coached by a good coach well...they're probably not worthy pieces to build around.
