    Suh To Leave Lions?

According to league sources, free-agent-to-be Ndamukong Suh is preparing to move on from the Detroit Lions in favor of New York or a higher-profile city.

maybe if he is was just more like JJ and not a jackass than he wouldn't have to worry about growing his brand

I'm pretty sure he's a DT and the 2014 tag was only $9.654 million I don't think it would go up to 25 mil.

It's unfortunate historically that talented athletes have lost that desire to stay and grow somewhere and build it into a winner. Partly because they're no longer indentured servants and can leave an exploitative situation, and partly because some franchises have built a permanent mystique compared to others, but also for commercially prudent but ultimately cynical self-monetization like this. I guess once Boggs and Clemens put on Yankee caps the train had left the station.

It is just business. Players are more savvy now than every before. And I think you are totally on the money that players can now leave organizations that just plain suck or are exploitative.

It would be nice if both players and teams were more loyal to each other. But we all know a team is only as loyal to a player so long as that player is useful.

Well it's easy to see why he'd want out, but he's well worth the 9 million dollar franchise tag so I don't think he'll get out any time soon.

Makes sense. His brand is trying to injure people and deliver cheap shots, right? When he does that stuff playing in New York, he'll get a lot more attention for it than he already does in Detroit.
