Should Mcgrady get shoulder surgery too?

Just like the knee, Mcgrady has been complaining about his shoulder all season long. He has repeatedly said when the season is over, he will get his shoulder cleaned up with surgery. Now all of a sudden, the shoulder is fine and all he needs to do is work out to rebuild the muscles around the soreness in his shoulder. Does this sound familiar to you? Should he get shoulder surgery too? I think he should get all the surgery he wants so there is no more excuses. Otherwise next year we go through this again.

I think he should get all the surgeries that he needs for his body. But can he rehab and put in the effort within 6 months?

The shoulder is NO LONGER a problem.

At the beggining of the season it still was a problem, but not anymore. During those 2 weeks (when he took them off to work on his conditioning) he started lifting weights and it felt great.

So that means the shoulder did heal on its own. There is NO REASON to make another surgery if he doesn't need it.

KNEE, KNEE, KNEE, that's the most important thing now.

I personally think he shouldn't have any surgeries including the micro-fracture knee procedure. He should just rest, rehab, build up the muscles around the soreness, and then play through the mild pain. That was the suggestion by Tom Clanton, and James Andrews. However, Mcgrady can't play through any pain at all. His cartilage problems, many NBA players have that same problem but plays through it anyways according to many doctors and Morey. With this in mind, perhaps Mcgrady should just get the shoulders operated on.

That's what he said about the knee problems when he took time off too and did his conditioning program. I guarantee he will be complaining about the shoulder in the future if he doesn't get that operated on.

But even after he came back from that rest he never looked healthly (because of the knee). But his shoulder improved, really.

Sure, he should get the surgery, if he needs it. Hell, get a dozen more. To me he's just a future expiring contract.

He'd need to wait at least a couple of months before getting anything done on the shoulder.

i thought his shoulder was fine, he started lifting weights again, said it was feeling better...i doubt we are going to trade this guy in the offseason, so the better he comes back the better for us, his trade value rises and if we decide to keep him we'll have a more effective tmac...everyone should be hoping that he returns because as the nj failed trade proved no one is going to take a 20 something million dollar expiring contract for NOTHING

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Tracy McGrady will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

A better course of action would be to drop that douchebag trainer. Anyone watching his training videos knows what happened.

It's irrelevant anyways. His career is over for all practical purposes.

Because you have superhuman ability to go into someone else's body to know and feel the exact pain he's feeling to be able to make these comments.
