Kobe talks James Harden on Grantland

In relation to OKC again

Kobe talks about Harden being the Lakers' match-up problem in their playoff series vss OKC.

OKC is Bill Simmons' favorite to win the West because of their trade moves and PHX giving up.

 

who else saw OKC....damn they will whip GS or whoever they play in the 1st.

I always found it funny that people kept claiming that they would miss the playoffs .

 

I hope Kobe replaces Charles or Shaq on TNT.

It feels like he still has that love for the game and watches it extensively. With the stuff Shaq and Charles say weekly it's clear they don't even watch much basketball any more.

 

Kobe does not have a TV personality.

 

Kobe is super serious but that's 10000x better than being unfunny like shaq. I wouldn't replace chuck tho

 

This. My wife use to stay up late with me just to watch the show, now neither one of us watches it. Shaq has made it unwatchable for me. I loved his cameos, when he would just make an appearance from time to time, but not full time. Plus it seems Chuck has shown even more hate since Shaq has gotten there. Hard to watch...

 

I agree that kobe doesn't have the personality for that show. He would actually watch the game, and try to analyze it, no room for that on tnt

 

I hope they play and beat GS in the first round. I'm worried they are playing so well that they might even move up to the 7th or even 6th seed though

I wish Baron Davis would be an analyst. I was blown away by how articulate he was, was expecting ultra ghetto when I first heard him talk.

 

They could have if Westbrook and Durant had missed enough games.

I would love to see a halftime show more focused on that and less focused on cheap laughs though. Shaq tipped the TNT show way over the age, stole too much airtime from Kenny and turned the whole show into a farce... Kenny is the more serious one and now he hardly gets to talk.

 

To that point, I believe Kobe would not let Chuck get away with some of his verbal diarrhea, nor Shaq's absolute worthlessness.

KB would likely be much more appealing than on a basketball court.

That would be funny for about 15 minutes as self parody, but then we'd just be left with nutjob Kobe and his monstrous insecurity denigrating everybody.

 

Kobe can barely contain his contempt for the world for half an hour a few times a year. No way he could do it weekly throughout the season.

 

It must be the beard...
