It depends on where you lives, even a $100 anteanna won't get you 51 if you live in New York.

I live in Houston. West side of Houston. 20 mins from downtown. So you're saying I can?

I bought an antenna similar to that at Radio Shack, and I pickup 51 crystal clear. Much clearer than it ever is on my DirecTv or Cable.

I went through the same thing you're going through, and buying more expensive rabbit ears didn't help. I hate to say it, but you might want to consider an outdoor antenna.

The key to getting 51 with an indoor antenna, is to make sure the antenna is amplified. Looks like that one is.

I had very good luck with an RCA amplified antenna I bought at Wal Mart. I had to play around with the atenna positions for a while, but it eventually came in. Not crystal clear, but decent enough to enjoy the game.

If you own a home, try getting a directional antenna for you roof.

So, I take it with the antenna there is no way I could pick up Ch. 51 from Victoria.

I thought all major TV stations in Houston had transmitters in Missouri City.

Have you heard of a thing you plug into an electrical outlet and it turns your house into a giant antenna?

I'm not making this up but I don't know much about it. I've seen something like it. I think you connect it to the back of your TV.

I bought one of those at radio shack. Didn't work any better than basic rabbit ears for me.
