    He has a great summer league so far, he will bring good news tot he poor clutchfans who had to suffer watching inconsistent point guard play from the bench

    we were prisoners to crap bench play, and he will release us from darkness

    If he delivers what Lin did at a cost of $800K, I'll be thrilled.


    However, I'll temper my expectations. There is too much youth on that bench; absolutely a wildcard.

    All he needs to do is bring the ball up the court, move the ball, shoot the 3 and make it consistently and put effort on the defensive end and he'll be great for us.

    If this guy can play any kind of defense, then the Jeremy Lin trade was addition by subtraction.

    The good news is that at least linmac is killing two birds here.

    He got both Lin and Mac in one thread. Less clutter in the garm.

    He's already adept at driving left and finishes strong with his off hand. Jeremy always seemed to suffer from the Zoolander effect.

    I'm impressed. He could be another good 2nd round pickup for Morey. He did everything to help his stock at summer league. He has a chance to be the backup PG this season.

    Not sure whether that would be wise for a team wanting to contend, but he could be a good trade chip.

    I don't really have high hopes for him - yet. He's barely beating his man to the basket in summer league, and it will be far more difficult in the regular season. He seems to be average at finishing at the basket. He hasn't shown any good defense in the D League or summer league.

    He's an excellent 3pt shooter though.

    I hope he develops quickly because he has the attributes to be a good bench player this coming season. I also love his energy, typical of a guy who comes off the bench and energizes everyone around him. I can see him being a Patty Mills for us if he works hard and plays to his strengths.

    He has the Rockets offense--3pters and drives to the hoop.

    He looks stronger and more aggressive and more confident.
