I'm confused by all of this. What provider or what channel(name of channel) will the Rockets play on?

I switched to comcast just for CSN. Now what? Lol

CSN will go away and there will be a new station called Root Sports. You should get this channel with your current cable package.

Only IF you are in the regional area of coverage. IF not you will pay a little extra to get it.

I got Dish, too. But I assume with Comcast, AT&T, and DirecTV all having the channel, Dish will pick it up too.

The channel (ROOT Houston) doesn't exist yet. Still needs to get past bankruptcy process.

I was going to go ahead and get ballstreams but if this is almost resolved, I may wait on that. I have suddenlink though and they haven't been mentioned yet but I have to think that once the other providers get the new channel, the others will follow suit.

Assuming everything works out in court.

Enjoy your low resolution picture and waiting for the courts to work things out.

    I know I'll be enjoying mine :)

Maybe we'll all get lucky and comcrap will cut your cable entirely.

Yeah, this is the same gamble I'm going with. Suddenlink was great when the games were broadcast on FSSW. I hope something happens soon though... Ballstreams is worth the money if there isn't a standard TV option, but otherwise I'd just as soon watch it on my TV.

    HURRY UP PLEASE.

I spoke to a At&t U-Verse rep on Saturday 9-20 and was told they ARE going to have the channel. She confirmed that it is comcast sports network, which will be in their channel lineup NBCSN.

NBCSN? I don't think that's right. Plus, these reps lie all time. I had one two weeks ago GUARANTEE me that if I got NBA League Pass I'd be able to watch all the games, even if I live in Houston.

Those reps are lying through their teeth just to get the sale.
