Porche Macan

I like wooden porches with tradition round columns.

 

I see a lot of people sitting on their porches all day. They are sitting there in the morning and when I return at night. I wonder what they do all day. It seems like an awful waste of time.

 

Good porches are hard to find nowadays.

 

I don't know what Ellen sees in Portia. She could do so much better than that. She is hilarious, that Ellen girl. :grin:

 

Last night was the first one since June where I could get out the cot and sleep on the screened porch. So peaceful.

 

Purists wouldn't like it, but I had fun driving it.

 

Did you try driving a deck? They are pretty fun.

 

I have a covered front and back porch, so I'm something of an expert. Email me with questions if needed.

 

Make sure you use treated wood so it isnt a rotten mess 10 years from now.

 

They have calling cards penguino and use it to call there motherland and get tricked by their siblings that they need 200 monthly for divorce papers.

 

I'd like to build a porche off the back of my house to cover an existing small patio. I guess I'd call it more of a deck though.

I dislike most of the modern Porsches from the Cayenne, the Panamera, and now the Macan. My family had a 911 (930) which to me epitomized what the marque was all about. That car was air-cooled, it required a lot of skill to drive, and it had visceral power which made the experience magnificent.

I understand the Macan is a necessary evil to win over women and men that like crossovers such as the Infiniti FX35/Lexus RX. However, it's not what Porsche means to me. Even the new 911 I'm not too keen on.

If you have no automotive racing background, go into the dealership and see for yourself if you even care about any of the above. The majority of Porsche owners that I know only purchased their car for prestige and/or acceraltion. They don't go to the race track or take GT road trips. Instead, they just need a car to commute from work and take their SO out to dinner.
