If you can make the drive to the one on westheimer and Gessner, They have adjustable flat and incline benches and I think there is at least 7 or 8 of them.
I wouldn't say it's a scam but yes that is true, their cancellation policy is horrible, even if you cancel somehow they charge for the next month. My brother had that situation he called them and they refunded him the money.
I've been to ... Westhiemer @ Gessner --Newer location, more benches but no real designated stretching area. Would probably go to this one if it wasn't further Hwy. 6 @ Bissonett-- Oldest one.. and it shows, too many young kids, a little hood Briar Forest @ Eldridge-- Nicest one in IMO
The employees at LA annoy me. Almost every time I go they bother me, while I'm listening to music with headphones on, to ask me if I would like to sign up for personal training or if I knew anyone who would be interested in a guest pass. Not a huge complaint but that never happened at my old gym.
Just bumping an old thread since I just signed up for LA Fitness. They have a promo going on right now where it's $20/ mo. if you prepay for 3 years. It's $179 annually after that, at your election. Sounds like a pretty good deal since I was tired of 24 after 4 years of using the Costco certificates.
You were able to use two costco memberships? I see the one on Richmond when I go to Costco and one on Holcombe is pretty close to me. How are they compared to 24 super sport? I got to the one on Milam and it is decent.
They have a no grunting sign? lol If they have free weights I don't see how they can't have squats and deads.
LA Fitness is superior to 24 hour fitness... clientele is better and you are less likely to deal with scrubs on the court who want to fight you over simple fouls.
You are thinking of Planet Fitness where they have an actual alarm that goes off if you do said things.
Twin Peaks girls were at the Jersey Village location yesterday....had to up the weights in front of them.
Just sign up for the 24 hr fitness supersport Go to the Elgin/Louisiana one or the one in Rice Village Nice tight yoga pants = Profit
So you pay $720 for 3 yrs? Can you work out at any LA Fitness in the city or is it designed to one specific one?
How is the 24 hr fitness by the galleria on Richmond Ave just past the loop? I'm thinking of moving to that side of town.
Its not bad. Clean facility with a lot of nice looking women who go there. If you're on that side of town might as well try the SuperSport 24hr in Rice Village.
I've gone to Rice Village several times. I live in midtown now and go to the one on Elgin. It's also a supersport The drive from galleria to Rice village is bad iwth the 610 and 59 traffic
