What is the worst part of being 7-foot-2?: "People coming up to me asking me if I'm Hasheem Thabeet. That's probably the worst thing. No offense to him, but I look nothing like him."
Oh, now I see why DD keeps comparing Thabeet to him, he's got quite an eye for potential development.

Hibbert is a decent starting center, and if we could ge that from Thabeet the dunk and layup line at the rim would end. DD
how r we supposed to get anything from Thabeet when he's rotting on the bench, and developing only during practice. At the same time, im stuck watching dalembert, hill and scola time after time.
Always liked Hibbert in college and he has turned into a decent pro. I don't watch the Pacers much but if I remember he still struggles with footwork (on both ends). I wish Thabeet was Hibbert.
He looks nothin like Thabeet in that picture lol, people should get some glasses. Didn't know Hibbert played for Connecticut though.
Don't think it has anything to do with looks... NBA players hate the tag "stiff" and "bust" worst of all, and Hasheem is now synonymous with those terms. Laughable and sad at the same time that players in the league are even talking to it.
The question is: how r we supposed to get anything from Thabeet when he has no talent and can't play da game? And the answer to your question is: trade his expiring contract for somebody that can play or let him walk and use the cap space he took up to get a guy that can play.. Look, he can't beat out Jordan Hill for any minutes. That should tell you something.
