I love this team! This is the deepest team we have had that I can remember. We have a player that can score 20 points any night at all five positions. If we don't make any trades this team will surprise everyone!

    Knee-Jerk Reaction.

Every team will make a move if an opportunity to make the team better is available.

We'll see what you think after our first loss.

And Yao was in a cast two months ago.

The Rockets will be able to re-sign Aaron Brooks with Shane's contract coming off the books. i don't think they need to make a move this year or next if Yao doesn't get injured again.

The NBA is a star powered league. Bottom line.

We need someone we can trust to handle the ball at the end of the game....ridiculous how we always lose 4th quarter leads...stemming from last year.

in fact, there were much fewer 4th quarter collapses last season than any other recent seasons.

    Yao = 4th quarter collapse.

    no question about that.

The current rockets team will make the playoffs, but won't get the homecourt advantage. We are not a contender yet.

    Who should we trade for?

Carmelo aint gonna help our defense? Neither is CP3.

Find a way to pry Gerald Wallace from the Bobcats, who are on the list of teams possibly getting contracted in the future.

The current Rockets team without Yao? I agree.

With Yao back I believe the Rockets can easily take the Lakers to seven games in the WCF and that's anyones game.

The best move is not playing Chuck Hayes and Yao together.

Melo or no Melo, we will be trading either Brooks or Lowry before the start of the next season (if there is one).

What would be the point? Only to have one or the other exhausted by the end of the game and be ineffective. That would be moronic

I like Josh Smith. Athletic shot-blocker who plays great D and can play the 3 or 4. Of course, I've never known Josh Smith to make clutch shots. Clutch dunks, yes. Clutch shots, no.

Battier would be more helpful as an assistant coach than player. He knows what to do, however, he no longer has the athletic ability to get it done.

I would love to see Andre I come to the Rockets for Battier, Jeffries (expiring) and 1 of the lower 1st round picks. Between Lee and Andre I we have some lock down D at the 2 and 3 spots.

We definitely better immediately with Andre I and moving Shane along.
