Great for the Astros if true, but I wonder what Miami is thinking? They are 38-42, 9 games out of the division and about 7 out of the wildcard. They have a -60 run differential, which means this is no fluke - for reference, the Astros are at -65. If anything, they are playing way over their heads right now. Carlos Lee 4 years ago might have made a different, but today's Carlos Lee is not the solution for that team. He can really only help a team that needs a slight boost - they need a gamechanger. Given the low odds of this helping them, I doubt they are giving up anything remotely valuable for him.

Not really hoping for much, to be honest. There's still a marked dearth of LHPs in the system. Adam Conley (#10 according to BA) and Chad James (#6) are nice possibilities, but they're probably not coming. James has struggled quite a bit in High-A. Probably Rob Rasmussen (#7).
4 prospects in Sickel's top 120. Yelich and Jose Fernandez are probably untouchable. Those three look like reasonable options. They're all lefty starters who got B- grades from Sickel's before the season. They were his 6-7-8 ranked marlins prospects.

I wonder if we could get a low-buy on Marcell Ozuna but boosting our lefty starting depth should be a priority.
