Not sure if it's being discussed in the USA thread but this needs its own thread. Just a gruesome looking injury. For the non-squeamish maybe someone else can post a vid but not me. To his credit PG was taking it like a champ and didn't seem like he was writhing, crying or anything. $hit. Sucks for Pacers fans and NBA fans.
Terrible injury - was hard to watch. Good luck to Paul on the road to recovery. Hopefully he comes back better than ever.
Made me think about yacking in the toilet. So nasty, I feel bad for that guy, because that sets him back extremely far. May affect his career arc big time.
This is obviously an awful thing to happen to PG let alone anyone, I really feel for him. From what I've seen and read it looked like George has been working hard and really soaking up this opportunity. I truly wish him the best.
its crazy because that exact play has happened hundreds and thousands of times in games all across the wold. I've been watching ball since early 90's. The odds of that happening are astoundingly low. Let alone it was an exhibition game which makes it even worse. NBA has to change the goals posts, its been said for decades, and it has finally happened. That and camera men. I hope PG comes back the same player.. He might be out a long time seeing his fibula, and tibia bones suffered a compound fracture like that. Here is a link describing the injury somewhat for more logical thinkers like me. http://www.emedicinehealth.com/broken_leg/page2_em.htm
