Everyone is caught up in Dragic fever and whether or not he comes back to us in free agency. Once free agency starts will Dragic hold it against the Rockets that we traded him to begin the season? Hopefully that never really bothered him and would be willing to come back

Him and Lowry will BOTH want to start. They have shown they are starters in this league.

I've heard that if he leaves, he will ban his children and his children's children from ever speaking the words "Houston Rockets" again...for six months.

I dont see why. He was technnically an unproven starter when he was traded. His value had to be lower at that point and he should understand why that was..

Players that bust out in a certain location probably have those memories over riding any that precluded that busting out.

He is probably appreciative of being given the opportunity in Houston.

Of course it doesn't help. Morey showed his cards in that trade. Lowry is our future. Dragic is an asset. Dragic learned right then this is a business. Phoenix promises meant nothing and Houston will trade for the next best asset. In the end the only thing that is certain is the money. They can bench you, trade you force you to play out of position but if you have a guaranteed contract they have to pay you the money. Dragic likes Houston but he loves the fans in Portland and new friendships can be developed. After the game Lamarcus and Matthews congratulated him. The courting has begun.
