    Houston is not Paris, that's for sure. We are at 30° N latitude and nearly all homes in the Houston area have uncovered patios. That should tell you something about the perverted thinking among Houstonians.

    No, I'm not. Texx probably is. But, I'm saying as we undertake our current solutions, we should be looking at what is going to be a paradigm shift that is sitting on the horizon. We want to set our investments to be flexible when the change comes.

    I generally agree with this. Continue to invest in roads, freeways, park and ride, and potentially bus system enhancements....not expensive, publicly funded trains.

    People that advocate building light rail have probably never run a business and have not lived somewhere that is suffering financially due to these outdated expensive forms of mass transit.

    What the city is doing on Post Oak makesnso much more sense than putting in an additional light rail line

    Perhaps... but didn't property value/business value along the light rail line end up going up significantly after it was built?
