Don't be naive. The plan last year resulted in using the MLE on a supposed trade asset in Kostas, not a championship contributor, and roll with Terry and Pablo behind an injury-prone Bev. Corey Joseph destroys that plan, but according to Feigen that may constitute a "spending spree".

Am I missing something here with Cory Joseph? The dude's career average is 5 ppg. He would fight for a spot with Nick Johnson. I am seeing MLE thrown around....??? Just...why?

Pacers just resigned Rodney Stuckey. I really wanted him on Houston.

The plan resulted in a conference finals in one of the toughest conferences ever while the team was beset by injuries all year.

    Stop making terrible posts.

I hope Morey can sign with Josh Smith.

He was one of reasons why we made western final last year.

his stats as a starter (14 games) last year was pretty good:
    34.6 mins .562 FG% .444 3P% .750 FT% 4.5 REB 3.6 AST 1.6 TO 13.2 PTS

the 44% on threes is misleading because he only attempted .6 a game, but still nice to have.

Was referring to the plan for the point. As far as the big picture plan for last year that resulted in the WCF, I don't think it involved Josh Smith being waived by Detroit and agreeing to play here for free. That would go into the luck category. Unfortunately I'm worried that getting to the WCF may have emboldened Morey to continue pursuing flexibility over winning now.

Nope, wrong. Being able to pay Josh Smith more than any other contender was key.

It wasn't luck that Morey didn't blow all of the Rockets flexibility last summer and spend the BAE on whatever player I'm sure you thought was the key to "winning."

Like I said, stop making bad posts.

I'd say Morey has earned the benefit of the doubt at this point. Let's see what he does and what happens first before criticizing his plan.

Personally, I'd pass. He doesn't seem to have the attitude we need to build a champion. I could be wrong, tough to gauge much on his game body language.

After LMA, what's the next target for Morey?

    Stuckey was robbed by Pacers...
If we are still waiting like this, Josh Smith also will sign with kings.

Some of ya'll need to relax. You're gonna give yourselves the Hershey squirts.

Let's hide and watch. Hopefully Morey reads clutchfans so he knows we need a point guard.

The lower half of his face looks like Dwight Howard's and we know DH comes alive during the playoffs.
