With the way he is playing, I think Chandler Parsons is going to start meriting some serious League MVP discussion. He's putting up a ridiculous 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists a game, and according to David Thorpe, Parsons is the "best defender...I've ever seen."

So do you think he'll finish at least in the top 5 of MVP voting, and maybe even take the award outright if Lebron cools down?

Man, I sign into chat the other day and the first thing Kam says is "sup koolpudydawg." Crazy that was 10 years ago.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to be sarcastic.

Parsons has been playing great basketball lately.

If he had this production since the start of the season, it could have been a 3 person battle for ROtY between Rubio / Irving / Parsons.

I guess you could call it sarcasm, but Parsons is honestly my favorite player. Love him. I didn't mean to mock all the praise he's been getting - I just wanted to hyperbolize my admiration!

To answer your question, he should be MVP.

Yeah. I miss those days when I was just a pimply faced loser playing simulation baseball in a chatroom in the nether-regions of the internet. Let's get a #houstonrockets reunion together.

Your sarcasm it seems is unfortunately misplaced. Try again torque. And get real.

I'm just happy he's turning into the most improved free throw shooter of the month. He's got my vote!

Yeah, thus the deliberately misleading ellipses.

Don't go messing with Parsons. He's my favorite current Rocket. He's someone I can grow old as a fan with. Morey better not treat him like an asset. I like him as much as I liked Cat.

Great comparison! I was trying to think of a player that had caught my affection as much as Parsons...Cuttino was definitely that guy. Offense, defense, effort, everything.

    Franchise
    Cat
    Parsons
    Chuck Wagon
    Yao

    That's my fave-five.

He's a great defender, no need to be sarcastic on him. He's the reason why we're in the playoff tree this year.
