Flipping channels between the Rockets-Warriors game and the Stars-Wild game. What happened I thought it was a blowout after the 2nd intermission. Minnesota was down by 4 goals and now they trail by only 1 goal. Crazy ending right now, Stars up 5-4.
This young Stars team needs to mature quickly. They can't keep playing around and letting their guards down in the next round.
Yeah. St. Louis played the Hawks pretty tough. This is the best I've seen them in the last 4-5 years. Without Seguin, I'm not sure the Stars can win. They did take 4/5 in the regular season, but most of those games were OT games. Should be a fun series nonetheless. Looking forward to it.
It's funny honestly because the Ducks and Pens are still in it and they both won in 07 and 09 respectively. The only other team aside from the ones mentioned that has won it since then are the Bruins and they never made it. I have a feeling the Pens will be in the final. Not quite sure who comes out of the west. The Sharks are playing well. Blues could do it if Elliott plays like he has been. Really up in the air.
Blues/Stars has been a really good series for those interested in giving playoff hockey a go. Pens/Caps tonight is a big one. The Caps need to leave Pitt tied 2-2. After playing so well in game 3 and losing, and after their history of playoff defeats, they can't go down 3-1 at this point against the only Eastern Conf team that rivals them right now. They also need to get some goals in against Murray and not let him build on that ridiculous effort in Game 3.
NY Islanders lost both games @ home in OT to the TB lightning, tough way to lose both games. Interesting how well TB is playing w/o their superstar Stamkos. TB did make the Stanley Cup finals last year losing to the Blackhawks.
Triple OT for the blues/preds yesterday. Which is why networks hate the format, and fans love it! Amazing game. Apologies to the wife and kids. See you in June!
