You're aware he's in this movie, yes? I mean...this is the first time he's being handled by Marvel Studios. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
He's my favorite super hero. Can you spoil it for me, does Spiderman break up the tension at all? Is he on one side or the other?
In the comics he sides with Iron Man and takes off his mask in a very public announcement. This doesn't quite follow the comics so who knows? I'd guess he's with Iron Man at least initially. Side note, long run down of the trailer from the Russo Brothers: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=127354 A fan made trailer run down with lots of cool gifs, and a bit of insight. http://io9.com/every-hint-and-clue-hidden-in-the-captain-america-civi-1744583227
Yes!!! Spiderman and Ironman kicking butt, take that Captain A hole!!! Whose patriotic now, hahahah! Like Tony Stark said: I'd love to kick you right in the teeth!!!
Same, loved that. Still can't believe I'm going to see a movie with Black Panther in it, and he's actually called Black Panther.
Meh...i think i'm over this Marvel movieverse. I just want it to be over and done with. Maybe because i want it to start over in a different look and feel other than this grounded stuff. It's just all kind of silly to me now. It almost makes me cringe seeing these people run around in costumes. Same thing happened for me and the Batman trilogy. I still love it, but i can't help but think it's kind of lame seeing batman run around in day light dressed like that. Lot's of camp in that trilogy. Maybe i just hate everything now. Ugh, i hope i don't end up hating my beloved Star Wars. The only thing that could peak my interest again is Marvel getting X-Men back. But, not right now. Maybe like 8 years down the road so it goes in a different direction instead of making the X-Men have the same theme and feel as the Avengers movies. Is no one else kind of over live action superhero movies? I'd much rather see a superhero universe made like Beowulf or Avatar where everything is photorealistic CGI. That way you can make the actors look like themselves but more like the character in build and facial features. Imagine Hugh Jackman doing mocap for Wolverine as a 5'3 hairy, mean sob. You can play with his facial features to make him look more Logan and less handsome model. Even Beowulf did a great thing making Ray Winstone(old and fat) into a young superhero like physique while keeping the actors facial features. I think that'd be pretty sick and opens up casting for so many superheroes that don't have to be young and work out for years to get the right build.
My sentiments exactly. Marvel is the sole reason I got back into blockbuster movies/summer blockbuster to be precise. Reclaimed my interest. Before the marvel resurgence, it was transformers this and transformers that, it killed the mood for me. Summer movies use to suck ass because of the transformers movies.I'm loving this momentum, Marvel is pushing out every year with these releases. I actually would rather see this next month, than Star Wars.
And plus, the fight scenes look awesome, whereas the star wars trailer, it was just spectacle. name me one good fight scene in that star wars trailer?
So what? I get my superhero fight scene nerd hard-on from movies like Civil War and my John-Williams-score-sci-fi-spectacle nerd hard-on from Force Awakens. Either way, nerd Viagra. Btw, these fight scenes betwixt "good guys" often feel contrived. I hope they step it up in Civil War, but the peeks from the trailer are promising.
This might be nit picking but even if you have superstrength why would you punch a guy in armor especially with a closed fist? You're going to do as much damage to yourself as you are to him. It would be better to try to attack the armor at the joints where it is the weakest rather than right in the helmet where it is the strongest.
If you hate batman and marvel movies (comic movie geeks unite)...uhhh wrong thread bro? I guess you can root for the Warcraft movie.
While I can understand how some have superhero fatigue, summer blockbusters are gonna be made regardless. Most blockbusters are mediocre to terrible with few exceptions. It isn't as if the next Citizen Kane is being held back by Iron Man. The comic book wave has gotten me into the theater more in the last 5 years than I ever did before. I've enjoyed every single one of the Marvel movies. The quality has ranged from OK to awesome, but never bad IMO. I honestly think they could do this for years. They have proven thaey can take obscure properties like Guardians of the Galaxy and turn it into a monster. They can just keep this same formula with 2 movies a year and using the established characters to build up the new ones in the team up movies.
I've also enjoyed most of the Marvel movies except for the Thor ones. They're not bad or anything it just feels bland and boring. Anything related or looks like Game Of Throne, I'm not interested. Is it the viking era?? I don't know, I'm not a fan of those kinds of movies. ******g Conan and ****. Ya'll like Conan??? Or the damn Beastmaster??? Talk about BOOOOORRRRINGGGG!!!!
