Right now, I have Knight Bradley Covington A. Davis Koufos Gerald Green (if he starts) Markieff Morris Porzingis Edit: Switched out Rondo, Gasol, and Booker for Knight, Koufos, and Porzingis. I'll probably switch it up again and go back to Rondo if Bledsoe is playing.
I think Rudy Gay becomes more valuable with Cousins out. Will be the only volume option left on offense.
Going to try a different strategy tonight. PG Kemba Walker SG Gerald Green SF Rudy Gay PF Anthony Davis C Marc Gasol G Isaiah Canaan F Robert Covington UTIL Marcin Gortat I think I can safely project 160 out of Walker/Gay/Gasol/Brow which means I only need a 20 point average out of the remaining 5 players to reach 260.
Oh how stupid of me. Yeah well obviously I think I can get to 100 with Brow and one of Gay, Kemba or Gasol. Then if I can get 80 combined out of the other 2, I only need another 80 out of the remaining 4 scrubs to hit 260.
Ok, last minute change. Going back to Casspi...and going with Monroe since Cousins is out. Rondo Galloway Leonard Porzingis Monroe Hollis Jefferson Covington Casspi
Casspi is not starting tonight but WCS has barely played so he will probably see close to 30 minutes again.
Green confirmed starting tonight. Gonna roll with the above lineup. Knight Bradley Covington A. Davis Koufos Gerald Green Markieff Morris Porzingis
That worked out for me...but Galloway really screwed the pooch for me. Missed his first 3 shots, had a turnover, and that basically ended his night. Just needed 20 points from him, but Im lucky he even gave me positive points, since he was sitting at -0.5 for most of the night.
292 for me. Crushed in every cash game, but I did have one head to head that my opponent put up 280, but Brow erased that deficit pretty easily. Definitely my best output so far despite subpar games from Walker and Gasol. Gay, Gortat, Covington, Canaan and Green all produced nicely.
293.5 for me and cashed in my double up and gpp. I scaled back because I wasn't really that confident in my lineup. Knight and Cov did much better than I expected though. Really high scoring night overall.
Nice. Good pickup on Knight. You do have to step your game up on large slate nights. Just too much production available at every spot. Even SF was pretty loaded with value today.
Posted my thoughts on the Thanksgiving NFL slate on my blog now. http://www.dailyfantasydork.com/2015/11/26/nfl-week-12-thanksgiving-slate-picks-2/ In short: look for all the value plays and sprinkle in a tiny bit of chalk.
Abdullah is an interesting one…Philly has struggled against the run, giving up 100+ yards in 3 of the last 4, including Doug Martin going crazy last week. The weather is going to be terrible at Green Bay, so Im fading QBs and WRs there. Going off of Vegas spreads, O/U, and bad weather…I think GB DEF is what I will roll with. And because of the spread (-9), bad weather, and Vegas prediction of how many points the Packers will put up…I'll go with Lacy. Philly has given up the 26th most points to QBs and are now last in the NFL in points to WRs...Going to go with a Stafford/Megatron/Tate combo. If I was doing a GPP, I'd 100% go Abdullah…but Im just sticking to a $5 double up…I'll go with safer picks…Murray, Stewart, and Lacy (Flex). Stafford Murray Stewart Megatron Tate Dez Witten Lacy Packers I know Dez is potentially set up to have a bad game, but if Vegas believes in the Cowboys, I'll put my money on their playmakers. In a GPP, I'd go with Williams over Dez. EDIT: Looking up Vegas prop bets for odds of a TD for individual players. Going to make some changes based on that.
For the Dallas/Carolina game, the players favored to score a TD are: Dez Stewart McFadden Olsen is EVEN For the Philly/Det game, the players favored to score a TD are: Murray Megatron The GB/CHI odds are still not up on Bovada, but I will check back before the game to make any changes to the FLEX position where I currently have Lacy.
My Stafford/Megatron/Tate stack looking good early…another TD out of them and that should put me in solid position to cash.
That feeling when you started Romo over Stafford Today.. ****ing already has 30 points and a whole quarter to go.
