Assuming GS would not have to give up a core piece, Lin would make them better. Right now Curry and Thompson are not shooting well enough to advance in the playoffs. Lin is a high percentage shooter; he's a big guard who can guard 1s or 2s; and Jackson will let him play his game. He is also friends with Curry and they would have good chemistry on the floor. Lin is an explosive scorer and playmaker when he is in rhythm and GS's game is all about getting players in rhythm. NBA teams would not be able to keep up with them offensively.
