He says "typically" take back a bad contract, but that's bad tweeting. Clearing cap means not taking on any contract.

He says "typically" but it's still a bad tweet.

    Also FYI
"Good Riddance" means you are glad to be rid of them, so you wouldn't say that and then follow it with complimentary words.

Yeah not sure what Ken's doing on his Sunday Funday.

T-Rob is only making 3.5, that's hardly a hunk of cash, certainly not Gerald Wallace stuff we are talking about here. He will bring back something and no way are we going to have to give up any other asset to facilitate such a trade.

Any other year (or team) Morey would be the guy going after T-Rob.

And suddenly our live-by-the-three team has no three-point shooters. Maybe Canaan? Hope Lin, Bev, Harden, Parsons, Anderson (we still have Anderson, right?), Moti, TJ are all staying in shape and getting shots up this summer; otherwise, teams are just going to pack the paint against us.

Berger's concern makes sense if there were only one team involved. My guess is that the Rockets have multiple suitors for Robinson, and that the teams can't drive a "hard bargain" because they have to bid against each other.

we got a little uglier just by losing delfineoh, but a new hair cut by chandler can make us just as sexy.

Not that interesting. Other teams have needs and wants as well and Morey is better at finding those than almost anyone in the business.

It's not like we are just giving away a crappy player. Write him off all you (not directed towards specifically you) want, but he still has potential and potential sells high. Sure, it is diminished potential, but still worth a 2nd round pick somewhere without taking anything back (worst case scenario).

This should never be an argument when you're trying to acquire a player like Howard AND keep your other future MVP candidate AND keep a player of Parson's/Asik's caliber.

Finding diamonds in the rough is what Morey does. If anyone can piece together a bench on the fly it is Morey. Crap, he pieced together a playoff team on the fly in one off season LOL!

First -- I don't want to see any da*n Delfino appreciation threads until he signs with another team and we have no chance at bringing him back. Man, I love how those Argentinians play ball: hard nosed and with the enthusiasm every fan feels they would play with if they were out there. Hopefully we can find an exception of some sort to fit him into to bring him back. Garcia too. Hell, also, bring back Scola.

Anyway, secondly, Berger's tweet doesn't make me sweat. Morey said right after the draft that he is 100% sure he will be able to create that cap space -- and the look on his face was so oozing of confidence that it was almost gross. He's got something lined up for that -- I am guessing Spurs, since I think they did not have any cap space available to absorb the contract until after July 1st. I'm guessing Spurs for a future 1st rounder in next seasons awesome draft, or a three way trade with the Spurs getting Robinson, sending a 1st to some bad team who also takes White and cash and sends the Rockets a high 2nd round pick in next year's draft.

Our players are too nice. Carlos is the only one of our guys that trolls other teams. Will miss it.
