It encourages me when Ariza gets aggressive. Thanks for the video.

finally, ariza finishes strong instead of going for a weak ass layup. Ariza can get open looks at the rim, but he just blows so many of his shots when he opts for a layup instead of a dunk.

ariza needs to do this all the time and stop shooting jumpers for 2-3 games. get his confidence back up and just try to get some easy baskets. he's not good enough to regain his game by jacking up jumpers.

Ariza capitalized on some bad defensive breakdowns by the Hornets. Ariza's best shot at getting to the rim is driving by when the defender tries to contest his perimeter shot.

I couldn't watch game, but I caught some of the post-game stuff and they were really talking up this dunk. I thought Ariza had cocked back and unloaded a windmill in the Hornets' collective faces.

But this is still good. Rockets in-game dunks have been few and far between for the last few seasons. This season has been a nice change.

As Drexler said in the video, this is what happens when a shot blocker goes out of the game. (Can't believe I'm agreeing with Clyde.)

It was good recognition by Ariza. Also, IIRC soon after Okafor fouled out, the Rockets quickly got Landry the ball in the paint for an easy 2.

    Smart basketball and good execution.
