I didn't realize Draymond Green had evolved into such a good defender. I'll need to keep an eye out for that. GSW's defense in general is underrated. Like Houston's.

Defensive RAPM is focused on how well a team does regarding points allowed per possession when a particular player is in the game. There are more than one way to affect it. I tend to look at the 4 factors. While effective percentage for opposing team goes up by about 4% when Rubio is in the game, opponent turnovers go up about 20% (Rubio is good at steals), opponent offensive rebounding goes down by about 12% (Rubio rebounds very well defensively for a PG), and opponents draw about 15% fewer fouls with Rubio in (opposing PG isn't getting a lot of FTAs).

 

Best defense in the West while healthy.

 

I believe Joakim Noah will win Defensive Player of the Year.
