I'm looking forward to a Reagan/Cruz ticket. Unbeatable!

Ronald Reagan would be too far to the left to be electable in today's GOP. The minute he showed them tax reform that was not revenue neutral (because it stripped away deductions) and suggested he'd be raising the capital gains tax is the minute he'd be voted down in a primary. I'm not sure he'd even get that far.

He'd talk tough on foreign policy...but which Republican candidate over the last 12 years or so hasn't? That wouldn't distinguish him.

Reagan or Obama? One raised taxes, bombed Libya without congressional approval, bailed out a US car company, had a disastrous withdrawal from the Middle East, and sold weapons to an enemy country.

I wonder who the speechwriter was. It's good red meat.

Peggy Noonan took credit for writing many of Reagan's speeches. She later seemed to tilt a bit back to the center, criticizing Bush's admin and moreso Sarah Palin (as incompetent).

Lee Atwater was also involved in some of Reagan's speeches I suspect.

Reagan ruthlessly mocked the communists, it's exactly what we should be doing to the Islamists.

    The Reagan worship continues. Amazing!

Guys, he's not coming back from the dead. Let him go.

(For the record, I voted for him).

I thought Ronnie had passed away? A good thing, since he wouldn't recognize today's Republican Party, and would be viewed as too far to the Left by the radical "tea party" wing of the GOP, in my humble opinion.

If Obama came out making jokes about ISIS, the right would be trampling over themselves to be the first one to throw him under the bus. Whatever Obama does is the wrong thing.

It's a shame, really, because this whole ISIS situation could be neatly wrapped up with a nice stand-up routine...

If you did a standup routine about Isis, many would say you needed to be beheaded. While no one on this site would go that far, they would agree you needed to live in fear the rest of your life.

Happened to be near his museum, went, thought it was pretty good. Air force 1 made it pretty cool.

If that's the case, he wouldn't be able to be democrat. They are still too gay and communist for good ole Ronnie. I guess he'd have to be a libertarian.
