For those who caught it, what did you think? I like it. Boromir's character, though not a new idea, he plays it well. He gets to showcase his acting ability, so that's cool. He flirts with being killed basically the whole show it looks like, so that's funny. The female lead (Ali Larter) plays a stripper during a scene, so that's always good. I even caught a curse word at the beginning. TNT allows cursing?
I saw and liked the first episode and will continue to watch... BUT, there are a lot of signs that this won't be revolutionary in any way. The acting was ok. Sean Bean stood out, everyone else was pretty much run of the mill characters. The story behind the story is kind of interesting, and probably as much a reason I'll continue to watch it as anything, to see where they take that... but you can already see a bit where they're going to take it and again, I'm not expecting anything mind-blowing. The directing and editing might have been a little off. WTF on all the flashbacks. We JUST saw that scene 5 minutes ago, I don't need a flashback already. Also, the one guy they did kill off happened to be the only supporting character I found uniquely interesting.
I really like this show. You can tell it's very much 24-ish. If you haven't seen the little spoof by funnyordie, look it up. I would link it here, but youtube is blocked at work.
