    That's pretty low, even for loony jihadists. I can't really imagine the theological calculus in which one would think they could go before Allah and say you fought for him by massacring children.

    Maybe today will be the day that the Taliban loses the sympathy of locals who have run cover for them?

    It's because it was an Army School. As in, the kids attending were children and relatives of the military / police.

    It was retaliation, for the Pakistani Gov military strikes against the Taliban of Pakistan.
