Who's watching UT-Kentucky tonight? I think Kentucky will roll 72-55. If we want to have a chance of winning, Lammert and Holland have to provide a spark from the 3 point line, Holmes and Turner have to be spectacular, and the defense has to be as good as usual.
Man the refs were terrible on both sides of the ball calling too many fouls! Was very winnable if Taylor were playing.
Although UT lost, I was pleased with how they played over the final 10 minutes. With Yancy and Felix turning the ball over constantly, Holland stepped up and did a nice job. It is encouraging to know that UT can run a half-court offense even without Taylor. Texas needs to continue improve their guard play if they want to go deep into the tournament.
Without Taylor, in Lexington it's pretty hard to complain about this loss. One thing is for sure, they call some extremely BS flagrant fouls in college.
On a neutral court with neutral refs (I know that's asking too much going against Kentucky) with Isaiah Taylor playing for UT, I think UT wins that game. They're getting nothing from Felix and Yancy at the point.
Felix is a minus player. A chucker who turns the ball over, and who can only dribble with his right hand.
Big game on Big Monday for the Horns tonight. Thinking of heading up to Austin for the KU game on Jan 24th. Tickets are ridiculously priced right now though on the secondary market.
I will be waiting all day (student) to get into the KU game. I'm actually thinking about driving up to Lawrence for the game in February.
damn nice. I wonder if people will be camping out before the game since it's an early start time (1pm on a Saturday).
I wouldn't be surprised...some guys I know went at 8am and waited all day for the game last year (which was a later start as I recall), so this year with us being as good as we are I imagine that might happen
Do we always have a problem with Okie Lite? Seems like it. Every time we'd hit a 3 in the second half they seemed to always have a answer or hit one as well. Frustrating as hell to watch.
