Wonder if a package of Clowney and a 3rd in next year's draft might rent Miller for one year.

No kidding. He's let so much go this off season. If he lets Miller go, they'd revolt in Denver.

Trade Clowney right before his breakout season?

All while the media spins it to where the Texans are desperate chumps trying to overpay for Miller.

Denver wouldn't trade with us after we stole their QB. If they would where is the money coming from to stay under the cap? Maybe a package of Cushing & Clowney would work, but I'm not a cap expert.

Trades rarely happen in the NFL because the cap is a pain to work around.

Shoot, if you could make it work under the cap I'd trade Osweiler and L. Miller for him too along with Clowney. Just sign Fitzpatrick, who cares. Let me have fun watching the defense ball out.

Miller + Watt though, no cap space ever again.

You'd have no shot of signing him after the season, so is one year of Miller worth potentially ten of Clowney?

The answer a resounding no. Absolutely not.

I didn't even mention the fact that a third round pick should be a decent contributor.

Sure that would really hurt the team and lead to fewer wins than the current team would get, but STAR POWER!!!

There isn't much indication that B'Ob cares about the cap

I would love to see you say that to his (or any NFL player's) face. It sure is easy (and convenient) to critique a player's toughness from the couch.

I'm so sick of this type of slander. Clowney has had his fair share of injuries, and his reputation of being cautious in regards to injuries is valid. But to imply that Clowney only plays when his "vagina doesn't hurt" wholly overlooks 1) just how brutal and physical of a game football is, and 2) just how dire injuries are to one's career.

Your BOB hate is unreal. And unjustified. Lol

What evidence or indication supports what you just said? Also, what evidence shows that he even has anything to do with the cap?

There is none be because he has absolutely nothing to do with the cap.

Does yours hurt? If so, I recommend vagisil.

Say it to his face? Uh...., this is a fan FORUM correct(heavy emphasis on forum)? Just being a fan(of the team). If Clowney has even slightly met your expectations of what he should be, injuries or not, mailing it in or not, as a first overall pick, I feel bad for you and ricky smiths.

Where you went wrong is taking that post seriously in the first place. You've gotta be able to tell troll posts from something serious that you should consider.

No way Texans do that for a one year rental. Texans don't have the cap room anyway.

    This is not Madden.

Miller doesn't want to play on the tag and he said he wants to stay a Bronco. Elway would be seriously dumb if he did.

How funny would it be if Miller did come here though?
