Not sure if this is actually a good move for the Republican Party. Wonder if his followers will quit too?

However, the pronouncement of defection from the Republican Party is nothing new for Beck, who also runs the conservative news outlet TheBlaze.

In January 2014, Beck said on his website that he was "done with the GOP," Bloomberg Politics noted on Wednesday. In January 2013, Beck reportedly said he was "celebrating the death of the establishment GOP." And, Bloomberg noted that Newsmax, a conservative news website, reported in June 2011 that Beck had declared: "I hate them" in regard to Republicans.

When a kook like Glenn Beck supposedly quits the GOP for not being right-wing enough, it's no story at all.

    Yawn!

The Tea Party is what the Republican Party used to be. The current Republican party is what the Democrat Party used to be. The current Democrat Party has fallen of the left end of oblivion. I don't blame Beck at all for leaving the party but I am sure he will make a sane vote come election time and vote for the Republican candidate. Some times you have to hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils,

Its no surprise Beck has renounced the Republican Party. He is looney as they come, but he stuck to his beliefs. The Democrats are in chaos and the Republicans are happily filling the cess pool. Its a shame neither party has any convictions.

I would only hope that Glen would rally his voters in Florida and perhaps in other swing states to support his independent 2016 Presidential Campaign. Maybe Ron Paul could join him.

The Tea Party is what you imagine the GOP was, defending what you imagine the Constitution is.

It's really more of what the Southern Democrats were in the early 60's. Strange huh. (bigoted, jingoistic, and theocratic)

This is all just for publicity and clicks. How does anyone take this jackass seriously?

Actually all the racists/crazies used to be white southern Democrats until JFK and then they switched over to Republicans and today they are the tea partiers.

So ironically yes, you are kinda right in a way.

infotainment is so much more palatable than actual discourse:

when I feel, I feel alive
when I think, I fall asleep
