This article from Titan Sports by Wang Meng was before the loss to the Toronto Raptors.

This might explain WHY Yao Ming is so upset and frustrated about the loss.

"We took our opponents lightly." is exactly the reason why we lost this game. The team came out in the 2nd half like they already had the game won. Toronto had other plans and never stopped fighting.

    Attitude decides everything!
You have to try your best every game, even M.J or Kobe.

I personally like this season to be honest

its developing Yao a fair bit if you ask me in terms of being vocal and knowing what is right to say and what is wrong

Although, I much rather have Yao do less talking and more playing. Anyone can talk a good game. But you got to start showing it in games.

He wasn't even aggessive enough to take that many shots! But if he is going to shoot fadeways when a 6'9" Kris Humphries is defending him, then I am glad he is not shooting that much. And how in the hell did Yao only get 6 freaking rebounds and constantly let Nesterovic and Humphries outrebound him is absolutely pathetic!

If it's true that Yao was offering a defensive game-plan to Chuck then we are done. Where was Coach Adelman with HIS plan?

Yep, seems like we get an article like this about once a week about how things need to change and we need to do this and do that, blah blah blah.

Nothing ever changes, though. We still play like a bunch of p*****s, we're complacent and we keep blowing leads in the 2nd half.

When I saw this thread, I thought the article was because of the Toronto game. The fact that it was written BEFORE the Toronto game tells me all I need to know about this team. All talk, no action.

Wasn't there another article like this one after the Miami game? Yao and Tracy had a talk on the plane. Great. We're 5-3 since this big talk. Whoopee.

Stop talking about it and do it.

So, players should enforce a code of silence?

sometimes you need to make adjustment on the court.

But this wasn't on the court. According to the article Yao watched video of the team and then told Chuck that they could play it that way.

Almost like he was scouting the other team instead of the coaching staff doing it.

Ok, this is where Van Gundy had the team well prepared for an opponent. Yao should not be making the call on how the team should be defensing another team.

    Ohhh the infamy!

It won't be a good thing for the Rockets... but I'd be very much amused if Yao Ming begins to up to games with bags under his eyes from watching game tape and getting 2 hours of sleep. One of these days, he's going to be yelling at Kirk Snyder something like "I told you not to foul!!!" People will post threads about "Why Yao Hate Rookies?" and "Aaron Brooks no longer hate Yao for his lies."

He'll also go bald in about 2 years and retire 20 games into the season to go broadcast on TNT.

LOL!!! Coach Adelman actually thinks that the guards on our team are going to be as proactive as Yao and draw up a defensive game plan that helps our bigs stay out of foul trouble? It's no wonder we're inconsistant and a team with no direction.

Yao, the coach .. ppl say Kobe was the coach of LA last time. But then
some sharing of thoughts can mean no harm but good.

I think Yao underestimates teams in EC, and overestimates rockets!
