    It always looks like he's doing something on the sidelines. Very animated and active, plus what he's done to make a perennially soft team play hard defense deserves it.

    They'll never win a title, but that's ok. Neither did the Stockton/Malone Jazz and everyone respects them. ;)

    The only coaching move of any consequence in the series was Bowen giving Dirk fits.

    The rest of it was just players (of which the Mavericks had better ones). Either they hit the shots or they don't. Don't tell me about motivation, there's no player who needs to be motivated in a game 7.

    can't believe he got the award after he put tony parker and paul gasol in the 3rd quarter in the all-star game -_- anyway.... hes a great coach and he deserves it, he certainly outcoached jvg.

    He deserves it, no doubt. I'm still waiting to see what happens against the Spurs in Round 2. They completely forgot about defense when they played Phoenix last year. Maybe training camp and a full season under his leadership will truly make the difference for the Mavs.
