I wish I had seen him play more, cuz this will probably seem like a stupid question.

Is he actually creating his own shot? Or is he just hitting open jump shots? I mean does he have a post game? How good is he at passing out of the double team?

Can we stop with the snide and sarcastic thread titles please? Anthony Davis 2014-15 season is all you need in a thread title. You're not funny first of all and what are you 12?

He doesn't have any semblance of a post game yet, but his face up jumper is pretty smooth already.

Once he develops a post game though...

His game right now, reminds me of a prime Amar'e Stoudemire that plays good defense. It's scary to think he can improve from that.

Eventually AD will develop a refined post game and become the most unstoppable player in the NBA by a wide margin.

I'm curious to see how fresh he is in the dog days of mid-January & February.

Why should we not ignore it? He is not on the Rockets, the Rockets have no chance of trading for him, and his team won't even sniff the playoffs.

It's not so much that as how many vets aren't in peak season condition until January. The league gets noticeably better as the season progressing, IMO. Not worse. Albeit rookies do hit walls and get scouted. But I think Davis is past that

Not so much a wall. In the past, guys like Dwight (before he had the one year), Bosh, Pau and others have started off seasons at MVP level but did not continue the production. Since this is AD's first year being "burdened" as the superstar that must carry their team every game, I expect him to eventually decelerate. It's a matter of how much.

Remember, Harden fell off during his first year in Houston as exhaustion eventually kicked in.

He has been surprisingly consistent - I figured he'd drop off in efficiency around the 50 game mark but still going strong.

The games he missed during the season have helped him keep fresh legs.

The NBA couldn't have asked for a better guy to become their next marquee player. What an awesome talent.

That's what they said about Durant as well . . . then he turned jerky and can't stay healthy anymore.
