Yeah because it's got half the features. They are $150

But I digress. Jordan's are built around hype. Hype isn't racist.

Regardless of social issues, you said that a Chromebook could do everything as good or better than a Mac. A Chromebook cannot do Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut, Music Editing, Graphics, (and the list goes on) as good or better than a Mac.

Ok you took it too literally. Chromebock can't, for example, show off an apple logo better in a hipster coffeeshop.

Point is, we've reached a tipping point where an OS like Chromebook can be as productive as a Mac or PC OS.

It depends on what you mean by productive. If you mean surfing the web or responding to email or commenting on a BBS, or doing routine Office documents then a Chromebook will suffice. If you mean doing real work or using real applications, a Chromebook cannot compare.

Also, how can I take "everything" as too literal?

Then say that. Don't say one thing and kind of half ass backtrack your statement.

I think we should stay on-topic.

    Y'all are derailing the thread.

For the most part _ black people are usually the ones going bat 5h1t crazy over Jordans, and this thread is about Jordans...

Well excuse me Mr Rolex... I didn't realize Houston was the only place that have Jordans.

Of course... But I hope black people take more from that post than what you did.

If Nike introduced a new Jordan shoe with rims would black males in the US survive or would they just implode upon hearing the news?

The ones who watch BET and MTV would explode. The rest should be fine.

Water is wet _ the sky is blue _ and people are going to feel how they feel.

My point is Jordan is the equivalent to 'Stephen' and Phil Knight may as well be his 'Monsieur Candie'... Even though lower income black communities are the driving force behind the Jordan brand and many are 'slaves' to his brand _ Jordan doesn't make his shoes for them... But he has no problem with them killing each other and or them acting a fool behind his product as long as he keeps getting whatever little money they have _ he's good. That's why he never speaks out about the issues his shoes have caused amongst black communities or speaks out on any other issues in regards to black people in this country.

I'm not a racist... So if I can criticize Officer Wilson _ Jordan can get some too... Because Wilson is only responsible for one black person's death that I know of. As I said before _ we're having two total different conversations.

I'm simply dumbfounded, Victorious by your reply. You must be another one of the many uneducated who waits in line for a pair of worthless sneakers made by child laborers. Well hey! Let me skip my rent for a chance at these shoes!

If people are paying over $200 for them clearly the market has dictated they are not worthless.

You can say the same for Kim Kardashian and her ilk but I would disagree.
