Supposed to kick off tomorrow at Noon CST.

There's a live stream for it also on the link below.

    https://www.apple.com/apple-events/june-2014/

    Some of the things expected:

    - iOS 8

    - OS X 10.1.10 "Syrah"

    - Possible update of iMacs

    - Healthbook in iOS 8

    - Possible Retina Macbook Air

    - Connected Home Automation

    - I'm sure something about Beats will be mentioned

    - Possible new Apple TV

    - Doubtful about an iWatch or anything on the hardware front for a newer iPhone

Most people are expecting an event in August or September for the reveal of the new iPhone(s)

The only thing I'm really excited for is the Smart Home rollout. I have a Nest and I want to get those Toshiba smart light bulbs but we'll see what apple has planned.

New Apple TV? I'd buy that.

Otherwise I'm waiting for more info on the iPhone 6 later this year.

    Do they update iOS yearly?
Also what are the chances the original iPad Mini gets this update lol.

    Yes, annually.

100% chance both iPad minis will get it. A few features may be stripped (especially from the first generation), but they'll get it.

    Mac-81E3E92DD6088272.plist / iMac15,1 (IGPU only)

I wonder if the above is the new Mac Mini. An iMac without the display.

I'm actually pleasantly pleased with the OS X updates. I didn't expect that much going in.

OH wow, the iOS 8 stuff is killing it. All the stuff that they should have had that Android had already picked up plus new features. Apps finally have deeper integration with each other, active notifications and 3rd party app widgets in the NC, TouchID API for apps other than Apple....tons of good stuff.

It looks like iOS 8 is iOS 7's and Android's love child... Not a criticism; it's definitely grabbed my attention.

One thing that I am happy about is the group chat features now. I have a few group chats that sometimes can get really busy and annoying with all the vibrations but i still want to see my other texts. So now we can actually Do Not Disturb or silence on a per thread basis, name the group chat like whatsapp, and now have all your pictures on a group page instead of scrolling through the whole thing.

Lot of little things on the OS and iOS that I liked.

Been asking for widgets in the notification bar since they introduced it. Now I can look at scores w/o having to enter the app.
